How to Request a Custom Video From a Creator and Agree a Price

To request a custom video, write a brief with length, format, personal details and limits, ask for a quote with a delivery date, and agree the scope in writing before you pay. Do those three things and most disputes about price and delivery never happen.

Write the brief first, money second

Creators answer requests they can price. Before you message anyone, decide the running time in minutes, the format (clip, longer video, audio, photos), what should be personal to you, and what is off limits. One tight paragraph beats a long chat in which the request changes every few lines.

Add your deadline. A rush request costs more, and a creator who knows the date up front can say yes or no honestly instead of promising and slipping.

Skip anything you are not sure you want. Adding a personal detail later is a new request in practice, and creators price it that way.

Ask for a quote that names price, scope and date

A number alone is not a quote. You want the price, what it includes (length, number of revisions, personalization), and the delivery date, all in one message. That is the version you can compare with a second offer and point back to if the delivery differs.

When two quotes differ a lot, check the scope before the price. The cheaper one often has a shorter runtime, no corrections or a later date. The more expensive one sometimes includes exclusivity, meaning the creator will not resell the video, and that can be worth paying for.

How to compare offers on value

Line the offers up by cost per finished minute, delivery date and what happens if something is wrong. Look at the creator record too. Someone who has delivered several orders on time is worth a modest premium because you are paying for reliability, not only footage.

Posting one request and receiving several offers is the easiest way to do this. On PornIdea you post the request once, creators reply with price and delivery date, and you accept one. If your request is a recognizable format, such as a custom JOI video, the offers are easier to compare still.

Keep everything in writing

Agree the scope in the same place you pay. If the brief, the quote and the delivery sit in one order, a correction is a simple check of what was agreed. If they are spread across DMs, screenshots and memory, you are arguing about what someone said.

Pay only after the scope is agreed, confirm delivery when the file arrives, and raise problems against the written brief within a day or two, while details are fresh.

What a fair price looks like

There is no standard rate card, because cost follows effort. Longer, more personal, exclusive or rushed requests cost more. For an overview of what drives the number, read how much custom porn videos cost, and see how to price custom content requests for the creator side of the same math.

Be wary of quotes far below the others. They usually trade away runtime, revisions or a firm date.

Questions buyers ask

How long does a custom video take? It depends on the creator and the scope, which is why the delivery date belongs in the quote. Can I ask for changes? Small corrections against the written brief are normal. New ideas are a new order. Is it safe to pay up front? Only agree to pay once price, scope and date are written down, ideally in a recorded order.

Creators who get many requests often use tools to keep replies organized, for example AI that answers fan messages so serious buyers get a quick first response. As a buyer, a clear brief puts you at the top of that pile. When you are ready, post your custom request and compare the quotes that come back.
